The second episode of season 6 of "Blue Bloods", the CBS cop drama, is entitled "Absolute Power" and it will see Danny trying to nab a serial killer who has been targeting young women in New York City.
According to spoilers, the serial killer will send a scary message directly to Danny, and there's a possibility that the killer is harbouring a grudge against Danny. The contents of the letter are yet to be revealed, but it is something that will put Danny in a foul mood throughout the episode.
Viewers will also get to see some of Eddie's backstory as she confronts her estranged father.
Elsewhere in the episode, we'll see the Reagans gathering for an awkward family dinner. According to a preview clip obtained by Entertainment Tonight, the meal begins with Erin talking about her attempts at getting a judgeship. When she reveals that coming from a family of cops has not been favourable, Frank asks her to reconsider saying getting appointed would come with a lot of strings attached.
The gathering suddenly becomes awkward when Danny walks in late and refuses to answer questions regarding his latest case.
The official synopsis of the episode reads:
A possible serial-killer case is assigned to Danny and Baez. Meanwhile, Erin considers becoming a judge; a mayoral candidate claims that Frank has been secretly investigating her spouse; and Eddie confronts her dad when he turns up in the hospital.
