Popular Tulu drama and film artiste Naveen D Padil is expected to be one of the contestants in Kiccha Sudeep-hosted Bigg Boss Kannada season 4. Padil was part of Srujan Lokesh's comedy show, Majaa Talkies, which was aired on the same channel.
Rumours are rife that the channel has approached Naveen D Padil and he has reportedly agreed to be part of Bigg Boss 4 Kannada. He is a popular name in south Karnataka and his presence is expected to draw the viewers' attention in that part of the state.
Naveen D Padil has acted in over 1,000 stage plays and 10 films in Tulu. He was earlier seen in a small role in Shashank's Kannada movie, Jarasandha.
Apart from Padil, many other names, including Naveen Krishna, Yogish, Priya Haasan, and Kirik Keerthi are doing the rounds. It was earlier reported that Anu Prabhakar, Tara, Komal and Sudharani will be part of the show. But they have denied the reports.
Meanwhile, Colours Kannada has announced that the show will go on air from October 9. It will be telecast at 9 pm every day for about three months.
The Sudeep-hosted show is one of the most successful reality shows in Kannada. It will be shot at a specially-constructed set at Innovative Film City, Bengaluru. The first two editions of the popular TV show were filmed in Lonawala at a set erected for the Salman Khan-hosted Hindi version of the show.
