The controversial reality show "Bigg Boss" will return with its ninth season on television, but the show will not be aired on prime time, as per reports.

Reportedly, the show has lost its prime time slot on the Indian television show. The show will now air at 10.30 pm instead of the prime slot of 9 pm, Business of Cinema reported.

The daily reported that the makers of the show do not want to disturb prime time serials, including "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat", "Swaragini" and "Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi".

Also, rumours are doing the rounds that the television actress Asha Negi has been approached for the show.

"Just In : Rumours has it that @AshaNegi7 is also approached by endemol for #BiggBoss9 We still don't have confirm news about it," Bigg Boss Live News tweeted.

"Bigg Boss" is one of the most watched reality shows in India. The hype around the reality show starts from the second half of the year and remains on top until the show ends.

And for the ninth season, rumours of Salman Khan coming back to host the show, VJ Bani and Asha Negi approached has started doing the rounds.

However, there has been no confirmation from the makers regarding the host, timing and contestants.
