Deepika Padukone was in the "Bigg Boss 9" house recently. From the looks of it, the actress had quite a fun time promoting her film "Tamasha", interacting with the contestants and host Salman Khan.

However, as she walked on to the stage, the superstar asked why she was on the show sans her team members, to which Deepika responded with a smile.

Later, when asked what the film was about, she went on to say how Ved (Ranbir Kapoor) loses direction in life and that's when Tara (Deepika) steps in. Salman then made a discreet joke about the storyline hinting at the much-publicised RK-Katrina Kaif affair.

However, according to a DNA report, the real reason behind Kapoor scion missing the promotions is Katrina.

Although there's no way to confirm the reason but there could be a possibility as the actress very subtly put it (on Niranjan Iyengar's chat show) that she doesn't want anything to do with the "Sultan" actor.

"He is an amazing person and everyone in and out of the industry knows that. His parents and family treated me like a daughter always. But it does not seem respectful to my existing relationship if I talk about Salman or his family in the media hence I choose not to mostly," IANS quoted the "Fitoor" star as saying.

In other news, there were also reports about how the charming actress was sent to the high-voltage reality show to be tested for her chemistry with Salman.
