Thursday night ended with some year-end cheer as TV actors Sidharth Shukla, Sunil Grover (as Gutthi) and Adaa Khan entered the "Bigg Boss 9" house to celebrate the special day with the contestants.

A song-dance routine, news-reading, a few gags and an award-function were some of the major highlights of the episode.

Nora Fatehi's belly dance left all in awe and Suyyash Rai-Prince Narula's bromance added to the entertainment quotient fetching them the 'Best Jodi' award. Rishabh Sinha's romantic dance with Gutthi created quite a few laughs, and Adaa-Siddharth's moves were heavily lauded by the housemates.

While Priya Malik was honoured with the 'Kaano Ka Khooni' trophy, Mandana Karimi walked away with 'Chor' and 'Double Standard' awards. Rishabh picked up the 'Bhukkad' and 'Sidekick' awards and later went on to win in the 'Tu Bahar Mil Mein Batata Hoon' category. Keith Sequeira and Rochelle Rao bagged the good ones, fashionable male and female awards respectively, reported Hindustan Times.

Sure the night came to a close with much-needed positive energy, but the day didn't begin on a positive note. The captaincy task, in which Rochelle and Prince went head-to-head, saw the house divided into two groups and that too without much struggle.

Prince, in a very short span of time, was able to convince people why he should lead the house in the coming week. He won the task square and fair, but Rochelle played a spoilsport. Upset over not being supported by those she believed were her friends, she shed a few tears and later confronted the winner.

The "Splitsvilla 8" winner didn't take the lady's words very kindly saying instead of picking a fight with him, she could have at least congratulated him. Keith, who was around at the time, sat quietly by his partner's side, pacifying her. Disgusted and disappointed, Rochelle announced she wasn't part of the 'cool' group any more.
