Day 7 of "Bigg Boss 9" saw the contestants interacting with media person as well as Bollywood celebrities through a live chat. Also, the episode saw the season's first evicted contestant.

Sonam Kapoor joined host Salman Khan to promote their upcoming film "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo". The duo also grooved to a song from the film.

Salman then introduced IBN 7 senior anchor Aakash Soni and actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who along with Sonam interacted with the housemates through live chat.

Ayushmann told the contestants that tasks are also an important part of the show, hence they should concentrate on it more. Soni questioned Rimi Sen as to why she isn't performing well; to this, Salman defended Rimi and said she will soon come out of her comfort zone.

Sonam complimented Mandana Karimi as she is managing to speak in Hindi well. She then questioned why Roopal Tyagi and Digangana Suryavanshi isn't interacting with others and are confined to themselves. She mentions that they should stop behaving like college girls and start talking to others. The pair defended themselves saying that they are occupied with the house work and so didn't get time to interact.

After the live chat, a viewer was given the opportunity to talk to one of the "Bigg Boss 9" contestants. The viewer asked Keith Sequeira as to why didn't he take his girlfriend's stand when Mandana was bad-mouthing her. To this, Keith clarifies that Mandana didn't intend to speak in that way and tried reasoning it. Mandana also tried clarifying what she had said.

Later, Salman surprised everyone when he told that not a couple but only one housemate will be evicted this week. He finally revealed that Ankit Gera has been eliminated as he received the lowest votes.
