'Bigg Boss 8': Salman Khan Maintains 'Single' Status, Feels Happy About it

Salman Khan, one of the most eligible bachelors of the Hindi film industry, announced on "Bigg Boss 8" that he is single and happy about it.

While teasing contestant Ali Quli Mirza for having a girlfriend, he appreciated singlehood, but at the same time reprimanded him for trying to hook up with Dimpy Mahajan despite being in a relationship.

He also doled out a few tips on how to maintain equations with the female folk. He advised, if Mirza felt his next girlfriend would be better than his current ladylove, he should by all means leave the one he has been dating all this time. However, should he feel the urge to stick around, then he must quit cheating on her by being romantically involved with another girl on the show just for the game's sake.

However, Salman's admittance to singlehood was surprising, since the actor reportedly introduced Romanian beauty Lulia Vantur as his "girlfriend" at the wedding of Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma.

"Salman and Iulia were always together. There have been rumours linking him to Jacqueline Fernandez and Daisy Shah, but the fact is that Salman is in love with Iulia. She is very comfortable with his family too," an insider from the wedding told Mumbai Mirror.

The "Kick" star, who also invited ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif for the wedding, joked with her and addressed her as Katrina Kapoor.

According to inside scoop, the actor was apparently in a mood to have some fun and so most of his comments were made in jest. While Kaif took the remark in the right spirit, it remains to be known how Vantur reacted to Khan's friendly gesture.

The superstar, who intends to take a break after completion of Sooraj Barjatya's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" and Kabir Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", had dated Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sangeeta Bijlani and Somy Ali in the past.
