Easily one of the popular contestants of "Bigg Boss 8", Gautam Gulati is clearly emerging as one big star. After the controversial smooch selfies, the suave housemate's childhood photos have been doing rounds on social media.

From a toddler to a budding actor, the photos have captured his growth (quite literally) in the cutest way possible. If not anything, this dude has been picture-perfect right from his nappy days.

Born on 27 November, 1987, he featured in critically acclaimed Rakesh Mehta short film "Darpok" which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival, 2014. That apart, he became extremely popular for his portrayal of Vikram Rathi in hit TV serial "Diya Aur Baati Hum". Gautam was also part of Sri Lankan blockbuster "Siddhartha – The Buddha".

The impressive body of work did get him fame, but what really put things in motion is his "BB8" stint. From being a sidelined contestant to the hero of the house, his journey has been a difficult one for sure. He quickly made friends in week 1, but lost them all for his wrong doings. He later apologised for having calling a lady names, but no one was willing to listen to his side of the story.

However, week after week he survived eliminations emerging as one of the most-loved and followed contestants in the history of 'Bigg Boss'. His musical argument with fellow-contestant Ali Quli Mirza was followed by an incredible two-day trend (#GautamGulatiFever) on Twitter.

The 'Gautam City' task was the highlight of his journey during which he not only entertained the viewers with his antics but restored his friendship with Diandra Soares. The bonding then turned into a whirlwind romance peppered with romantic getaways to the washroom.

Cut to, surprise visit by the supermodel during the 'Freeze Release' task during which she said how genuine her emotions were towards her. Gautam too appreciated her sweet gestures saying that she didn't have to apologise to his family adding that the format of the show is such that people are bound to have misunderstandings.
