Kiccha Sudeep, who is the host of Bigg Boss 4 Kannada, is upset over the shocking assault on Pratham by Huccha Venkat. He says that Venkat should be punished for his "inexcusable" behaviour on the Kannada reality show.
A couple of guests had entered the house on Tuesday, November 15, where the challenge for the inmates was not to react to their presence. Huccha Venkat too entered the show along with two bodyguards, whose job is to prevent him from getting physical with the participants, and tried to evoke response from the contestants.
However, the situation turned serious when Huccha Venkat assaulted Pratham before the guards came to Pratham's rescue. Venkat was immediately asked to leave the house.
This incident has angered host Sudeep. Reacting to the episode, he tweeted, "Just saw th episode and this act by Huccha Venkat is inexcusable... I shall stand by wat needs to be done...[sic]" He added, "I do host the show,,but If he thinks he can walk in,physically abuse a contestant n walk out then he's wrong.. he should n shall be punished. [sic]"
Sudeep has also threatened to leave the show over the incident. "This is my promise to my viewers and the contestants tat I shall only appear again to host only after justice is done [sic]," Sudeep ended.
The act by Huccha Venkat has not come as a surprise to the viewers as he is known for his bad temperament. In fact, Huccha Venkat was one of the contestants in the previous season of Bigg Boss and was thrown out of the show after he beat up fellow contestant Ravi Mooruru.
Meanwhile, filmmaker Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar has reacted to the situation on Twitter by posting, "@KicchaSudeep @cineloka Dear Sudeep,That's not HIS fault. Few ppl prvkng him for cheap publicity. HE deserves parenting, pity & treatment."
