Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was spotted leaving for Goa this evening for the press conference of the reality show he hosts for Colors TV, Bigg Boss. Salman Khan will launch Bigg Boss 12 in Goa, in what is the first time that the show's press conference is being held in the seaside state.
Journalists will be flown to Goa in a junket for the special press conference of Bigg Boss 12. There is also a buzz that this time, the Bigg Boss house will also be in Goa in a villa. The Lonavala set of Bigg Boss may not be built for Bigg Boss 12, say sources. The Lonavala premises were used for Bigg Boss Marathi 1 that concluded recently. But the real reason to choose Goa could be simply because Salman Khan is shooting for his film Bharat in the state.
Salman Khan was spotted at the Mumbai airport in a grey T-shirt and blue jeans, with a grey stubble and dark shades. He was carrying a Louis Vuitton bag and looked a bit stressed. Take a look.
Bigg Boss 12 begins on September 16 on Colors and will air in the night primetime slots. This season, the show's format has introduced contestants in pairs, called the Vichitra Jodis or odd pairs, whether it's a couple or a mother-daughter or saas-bahu jodi, or mama-bhanja and chacha-bhatija, or twins and best friends.
Salman Khan has been hosting Bigg Boss for many seasons now, with the first three hosts being actor Arshad Warsi (Bigg Boss 1 when the show aired on Sony), the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, and svelte actress Shilpa Shetty.
Amid controversies on the show with contestants, Salman Khan had at least three times threatened to walk out and not host the next season. But year after year, he is back with his charm and wit on the show.
