Mumbai/ Kanpur, Oct 11 (ANI): Bollywood's living legend and megastar Amitabh Bachchan turned 71 on Friday. On this occasion, Bachchan launched a scheme for those whose homes are still dark without electricity. Bachchan said that he felt relaxed after launching the scheme through the trust named after his father, the renowned Hindi poet, Dr Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Bachchan was a rage among the Indian cine goers in the 1970s and 1980s and is still amongst the most popular in the country. Bachchan later, also conveyed unhappiness on the retirement of Indian Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, who announced he will retire next month after playing his 200th test match at home against West Indies. Fans across India celebrated the birthday of Bachchan with great fervour.
