Ahmedabad, Jan 14 (ANI): Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan along with the star cast of his upcoming film, ‘Shamitabh’, thronged Gujarat to fly kites to mark harvest festival, ‘Uttarayan’, on Wednesday. Thousands of fans thronged Ahmedabad city to take a glimpse of Bachchan, brand ambassador of Gujarat. Actor Dhanush and Bollywood Actress Akshara Haasan, who is making a debut, also participated in kite flying. 'Shamitabh' is slated for release on February 06. People celebrate ‘Uttarayan’ by flying kites. An International Kite Festival also concluded in the state on Tuesday (January 13).
