Facebook, Google and Yahoo are the most visited websites by mobile internet users, said a new survey report from Bharti Airtel.

According to the report titled 'Airtel Mobitude 2012', the peak hour of data consumption among mobile internet users is between 10-11 pm. The world's most popular social networking site, Facebook, topped the survey for the highest amount of data consumption and for the highest number of page views. The survey was conducted to analyze the attitude of India's 186 million Airtel customers towards internet mobile usage.

"Mobile internet sees maximum data consumption between 10 pm - 11pm and Google is most visited website in terms of unique users, while Facebook clocks maximum time spent and leads all websites in terms of page views as well as data consumption," the fourth edition of Airtel Mobitude 2012 survey said, according to Press trust of india.

Wallpaper downloads in the country scaled up to 75 million with 300 percent increase. The survey also highlighted the latest trends of watching television on mobile phones. The survey cited that mobile television watching has increased by 65 percent in the January-November period compared to the same period last year.

"The data...reveals an exciting picture of India's love for movies, music, gaming and social networking. The study also brings to light India's increasing dependence on smart devices and data usage as they access a whole host of new services on the go," said N Rajaram, Bharti Airtel Chief Marketing Officer, Consumer Business .

The analysis said that the movie "Dabangg" is the most viewed movie on Airtel Video Talkies. Actress Katrina Kaif led the legue of the most downloaded celebrities for the fourth consecutive year, followed by Kareena, Priyanka, Anushka Sharma and Vidya Balan.

"Chikni Chameli from Agneepath was the most downloaded song of the year, its actress Katrina Kaif continued to maintain the leading position in the category of images downloaded for the 4th consecutive year," the survey added.
