Anis Amri, the suspect in the Berlin Christmas market truck attack, has been shot dead by Italian police on 23 December. Italys interior minister Marco Minniti told a news conference that without any shadow of a doubt the man was the 24-year-old Tunisian, and that he died in a shootout with police in a Milan suburb.
