After earning Rs 10.36 crore on its first day at the domestic market, Befikre had collected Rs 11.60 crore on Saturday and Rs 12.47 crore on Sunday, taking its 1st weekend business to Rs 34.43 crore.

Directed by Aditya Chopra, Befikre's earning witnessed a heavy dip on Monday as it collected Rs 5.20 crore on its fourth day. Business of the movie continued to fall in the subsequent days with collections of Rs 3.59 crore on Tuesday and Rs 3.02 crore on Wednesday, taking its six days total earning to Rs 46.24 crore nett at the Indian box office.

Befikre collected Rs 2.51 crore on Thursday, taking its collection to Rs 48.75 crore nett by the end of seven days. Although erotic thriller Wajah Tum Ho is releasing on December 16, Befikre's domestic collection is likely to cross the 50 crore mark by its second weekend.

"#Befikre Fri 10.36 cr, Sat 11.60 cr, Sun 12.47 cr, Mon 5.20 cr, Tue 3.59 cr, Wed 3.02 cr, Thu 2.51 cr. Total: 48.75 cr. India biz," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Befikre received mixed reviews from the critics, but apparently did not enjoy positive word of mouth. It was one of the most hyped movies of 2016, but the drop in collection over the days suggests that audience expected a better show.

Nevertheless, Befikre should carry on its run at the box office for some more days, but its collection is likely to be affected drastically after the release of Aamir Khan's Dangal on December 23.
