Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani, despite all the dinner and movie dates, continue to say they are "good friends." However, the actor's recent selfless act hints at a slightly different direction.

According to a Mid-Day report, Tiger apparently let go off a film offer because Disha was sidelined in it. "Aankhen 2" was supposed to be made with the both of them, but another fresh face replaced Disha.

"Tiger was approached to be part of Aankhen sequel which is going on floors next month; he was to play an important character and was excited by the script. Disha was also approached to be cast opposite Tiger, but, eventually, the makers decided to cast a known face instead of her," an insider elaborated and added that Tiger excused himself from the project saying he wasn't too thrilled about the script.

The "Baaghi" actor, however, denied the news saying that he is committed to a couple of other projects that have come his way.

Tiger and Disha's music video "Befikra" is out and looking good. Dancing around the streets of Paris, the young stars have made a lasting impression with their incredible moves.

The video may appear fun, but Tiger says they had to work real hard on it. "We worked very hard for this music video. We were stressed about work more (and) there was little time to have fun," the Press Trust of India quoted him as saying.

In other news, Tiger will next be seen in "A Flying Jatt" alongside Jacqueline Fernandez. Directed by Remo D'Souza, the film arrives on Aug. 25 and may feature a cameo by Hrithik Roshan. Disha has "M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story" and "Kung Fu Yoga" lined up for release.
