It looks like Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's upcoming "Baywatch" film will have a pretty innovative marketing campaign that, according to the star, has never been seen in Hollywood before.

So far, The Rock has been doing a pretty great job promoting the film through regular filming and behind-the-scenes updates through his social media handles. His latest post teased the movie's "massive outdoor campaign" along with deeming it as "Avengers of the beach."

"King of the beach. Wrapped a bad ass shoot with Brian Bowen Smith [photographer] for our massive outdoor campaign for Baywatch," Johnson wrote on his latest Instagram post. "This look will be plastered all over the world on giant billboards, posters, sides of skyscrapers, cruise ships, jumbo jets, women's locker rooms and Vin Diesel's garage."

"We're puttin' together a truly one of kind, never seen before in the history of Hollywood campaign I think you guys'll really dig and have fun with. We're a bad ass Rated R squad and officially considered the 'Avengers of the beach'.. minus all the cool flying around, with a strong touch of family dysfunction."

Fans are also excited and pleased about the latest addition to this "dysfunctional family" — the original "Baywatch" TV series star, Pamela Anderson. The actress/model recently came on board the film for a cameo. In the TV show, Anderson played the role of C.J. Parker, which will be portrayed by Kelly Rohrbach in the film.

Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses) is directing "Baywatch," based on a script by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift. The film also stars Priyanka Chopra, Jon Bass, Alexandra Daddario, Ilfenesh Hadera, Zac Efron and David Hasselhoff (in a brief role). "Baywatch" is slated to release on May 19, 2017.
