Battlefield 4 named as Second Assault will reportedly be available on the day of Microsoft Xbox One console's release (22 Nov.)

The announcement was made by the game's renowned publisher, Electronic Arts, which also noted that the DLC content will be available for other platforms and consoles later. However, EA has kept the dates undercover.

Second Assault DLC pack was announced during Microsoft's E3 2013 event and is also expected to feature in the Battlefield 4: Showdown Live event between Europe and USA teams on Xbox Live Stream on 1 Nov., according to a Battlefield blog post.

Battlefield 4 Second Assault DLC features:

-Four "Fan-favourite" Battlefield 3 maps, redesigned for BF4's Frostbite 3 game engine.

-New multiplayer features included in the maps.

No new features have been revealed till now for the DLC pack by EA or DICE, according to Gamespot.

Second Assault DLC is said to be one of the five add-ons of the game and also comes with $50 BF4 premium membership. The subscribers will receive the expansion pack two weeks before the non-subscribers.

In related news, The Battlefield 4 Beta version is now available for the PC gamers and can be downloaded from the Origin store. Minimum and Recommended PC requirements of Beta version has also been mentioned by the developers.

The Battlefield 4 Beta version will include two game modes: Conquest and Domination, which will be played on the Siege of Shanghai map.

The main intention behind releasing the Beta version is to get a feedback from the players worldwide regarding the server performance and other multiplayer configurations which will help the developers in eliminating the bugs and errors reported.
