Various issues bug Battlefield 4 title. (battlefield.com)

DICE, the studio that developed Battlefield 4 has asked the players of the game to help it fix the issue of crashes that produces the CE-34878-0 error message. This crash has been bogging down the game, even after it sent updates to fix majority of the other problems.

After DICE released a patch for PlayStation 4, it requested players to give details about the 'CE-34878-0 crash' error message that they were encountering. This error message has been an issue since the release of Battlefield 4 on PlayStation 4, GameSpot reported.

"We know that players on PS4 can get the 'CE-34878-0 crash' error message. This is in fact a general error code that you can receive when the game has crashed for a number of different reasons that are not related," Tommy Rydling of DICE said in game forums.

"You can help us to identify these individual issues by providing a few details in the crash report (we read all of them.) For example what game mode you were playing and on what map you crashed. Doing this will help us a lot to reproduce the issues and investigate fixes for them in upcoming patches."

DICE has been constantly working to resolve the issues in Battlefield and has also withheld all future expansions that it was working on, which includes Battlefield 4 DLCs. Players have been countering various problems with the studio's recently releasing patches to fix the issues. It also released a bug tracker that will track and give details on some of the common bugs in the FPS title.
