• Gasser M1870: This pistol (Assault Class) causes 50X more damage and operates over a range of 22 meters. This means that this weapon qualifies as a close-range pistol. Gamers have found this pistol to easily lie among the best close-range pistols in Battlefield 1. However, the Gasser 1870 by virtue of it being a Revolver has a slow rate of fire.

• Howdah Pistol: Though the weapon requires comparatively more reloads, it is bang-on in target and hits enemies where you intend to. The Howdah Pistol (Assault Class) is quite robust as well; and causes full 53X damage to opponents.

• Mouser C96: Falling within the Medic class, the Mouser C96 is capable enough of holding 10 bullets in its magazine. The pistol inflicts full damage over a range of 13 metres. Mouser C96 is also attractive to look out as it seems more like a portable shotgun, than a pistol.

• Bulldog revolver (Support Class): USP of this pistol is that it inflicts 53X damage to enemies over a range of 6 metres, thus making it a really close-range pistol. However, at a range of 20 metres, the weapons inflicts 27X damage which should be significant to hurt enemies badly in if they are not killed instantly.

• P08 Pistol (Class independent): This pistol causes 30X damage over a range of 12 metres. However, this weapon requires comparatively more recoil. Nonetheless, its USP is that it causes significantly more damage to enemies in mid-range.

• MLE M1903 (Irrespective of class): USP of this pistol is its accuracy. The weapon causes 30X damage up to a range of 12 metres. It also fires rapidly thus allowing players a fair amount of cover. The M1903 is based on the design of the Colt 1903 Hammerless.

• M1911 (Class independent): This weapon falls into the category of semi-automatic pistols. USP of the M1911 is that it inflicts 30X damage over a range of 6 metres; thus making it one of the better close-range pistols.
