"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is undoubtedly all about the face-off between two most iconic superheros — Man of Steel and the Dark Knight. But some fans have been suspecting a new love triangle, with Wonder Woman and Lois Lane sharing the big screen for the first time.
The debut of Wonder Woman played by Gal Gadot in Batman v Superman has been the most intriguing aspect. While Henry Cavill is all gaga about Gal Gadot, fans are speculating Wonder Woman to be Superman's new love interest.
Well, given the two women will be sharing screen space with Superman for the first time in "Dawn of Justice" , Cosmopolitan thought it was only justified to ask which of the two women would fit romantically better with the Man of Steel.
Though Henry Cavill couldn't give an affirmative answer, he said that both the women would be perfect for Superman. "This is a very long discussion because there are a lot of questions to be asked and answered. I mean who is better for a super-powered alien, a human or a goddess? Yes, the goddess can do all the normal things, which we would think are normal in a relationship, and not have any fear of Superman. But you also need to have that baseline of humanity, which Lois provides. And literally keeps his feet on the ground, keeps him down to earth. So that's more of a debate than an answer," said Cavill, when asked who would be Superman's lobster: Lois Lane or Wonder Woman.
Henry Cavill has been busy giving interviews to promote his latest film "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." and that's how fans have been getting their scoop on "Batman v Superman".
In yet another interview, Henry spoke about the portrayal of Gadot's Wonder Woman, reported Comic Book Movie. When asked if he was going to play Wonder Woman and wear the skirt, Cavill said: "It's a dream of mine. Well you see they offered me the role and I was like– 'Hmm, you know what, I think Gal did a great job so..."
But when asked how was Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, the actor said, "Absolutely fantastic, yeah she's really cool, she makes a really cool Wonder Woman."
Now, whether there will be a love triangle between Wonder Woman, Lois Lane and Superman, will be known only when "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" hits theaters on 25 March, 2016.
