According to the synopsis of the episode, Ventrishire encounters an old French foe as Wilkin gains new insight into his holy destiny.

Wilkin will realize his destiny as the executioner after the latest vision that he had in the previous episode titled "Broken Things / Pethau Toredig." Besides, he, Milus and Toran teamed up to hunt down a fugitive whose identity was not known to any of them.

According to a report by Entertainment Weekly, after getting a vision of Annora in the last episode, Wilkin found out about his origins. Annora told him that a nun had tried to kill him when he was a baby by drowning him, but he was saved by a mysterious knight.

Annora's account compelled Wilkin to wonder he was part of the Knights of Rosula, descendants of the soldiers who killed Jesus.

Spoilers Guide has mentioned that the revelation may have a much deeper meaning than the revenge which Wilkin has been seeking for so long.

Besides, in the vision, Wilkin also saw a French enemy who may soon return to Ventrishire and threaten the whole community.

However, things are going to become more complicated for Wilkin as Lady Love has displayed her affection for him and also has revealed her innermost secret to him.

Now here's a dilemma, whether Wilkin will drop his plan of revenge and get accustomed to his new life with Lady Love; the answer lies in the upcoming episode.

The highlight moment of the episode will be the course of action that Jessamy may take now that he knows about Lady Love and Wilkin's romance.
