New Delhi, Aug 8 (ANI): The ministers of the BASIC nations - China, Brazil, South Africa and India held talks on environment change in New Delhi on Friday and discussed the future course of action on climate negotiations. The leaders, along with their negotiators, held strategic talks with India's Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar ahead of the forthcoming rounds of climate negotiations aimed at forming the global 2015 agreement. BASIC Group is a platform of the four countries for coordination on issues related to climate change. Javadekar emphasized on the importance of developing nations in initiating steps towards climate change. During the news conference, Javadekar also stressed on India's plan to go solar and informed about the large amount of funds being put into solar projects.
