The Bank of Baroda (BOB) has declared the results of its Probationary Officer (PO) examination 2016, taking those who have written the exam by surprise as it was expected to be announced in mid-October.

The BOB PO examination was conducted on September 25, which means the results were declared within two weeks after the written exam.

A total of 4,872 candidates have been shortlisted for group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) round for admission to Baroda Manipal School of Banking 2016-17 (BMSB), wherein the eligible aspirants will be recruited as Probationary Officers in the bank. The bank had earlier said that it would recruit only 400 candidates but has raised the number to 1200.

The state-owned bank has intimidated the candidates on the results via sms, and it can be checked on the bank's official website bankofbaroda.co.in by providing their roll numbers and date of birth.

To check your results, go to the website, click the "Announcements" link in the right-hand-side of the home page and then follow the link that reads "Baroda Manipal School of Banking 2016-17 – results for written test." Your roll number will appear in the page if you have been selected for the next round.

The shortlisted candidates can check their scorecard and download call letters for GD/PI from the bank's official website.
