Dhaka, Dec 29 (ANI): Relations between Bangladesh and Pakistan have steadily nosedived over the past week after Pakistan national assembly passed a resolution strongly condemning the execution of former Al-badr and and later Bangladeshi Jamaat assistant secretary general Abdul Quader Molla who was hanged in Dhaka. Abdul Quader Molla had been convicted for the beheading of a poet and raping an 11 year old girl and shooting 344 people during the Liberation War of 1971 and another mass killing, which earned him the title of ‘Butcher or Koshai of Mirpur’. Molla’s hanging on 12th December instantly and unsurprisingly brought forth voices of strong condemnation in Pakistan.
