Dhaka, Nov 23 (ANI): President of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), Md. Sabur Khan called for political consensus between the leading parties, as the battle for power intensified, plunging Bangladesh into violence. The stand-off between Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her arch rival and former premier Begum Khaleda Zia is nothing new. While talking to a reporter in Dhaka, Khan said that there should be a discussion between the leading parties to facilitate free and fair elections. Expressing concern over political uncertainty, Khan said the present uncertainty would not help the leaders in the long run.
