Agartala, Feb 03 (ANI): A team of Bangladeshi delegation arrived in Tripura to hold District Magistrate (DM) and Deputy Commissioner (DC) level talks to resolve trans-border issues. Indian officials received the 25-member delegation at Akhaura checkpost (between India and Bangladesh) in which besides the district heads, district police heads, officials of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) were also present. The team consists of heads of those four districts of Bangladesh that share border with Tripura. The Bangladeshi delegation will meet with their Indian counterparts on Tuesday to discuss issues related to curbing border crimes and to increase trade between the northeastern states and Bangladesh. A visiting member from Bangladesh, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Bangladesh's Moulvibazar area, Md Kamrul Hasan said for the first time such initiative has been taken and hopefully such talks would continue in the future too.
