Rangpur, Nov 11 (ANI): Ahead of Bangladesh elections, activists and leaders staged a peace rally in Rangpur district to protest against the recent violence and press their demand for a neutral caretaker government to oversee the next general elections. Earlier, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) had refused a request from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to form an all-party government to oversee upcoming elections, thereby setting the stage for a showdown this week. At the public rally on Sunday (November 10), several leaders came together in Rangpur district to march against the violent strikes.
