Dhaka, Oct 25 (ANI): Bangladesh academician, Shafi Ahmed highlighted the conflict between the leading political parties of the country, as tensions mounted ahead of the general elections. Bangladesh has been rocked by protests and counter-protests since January, when a tribunal set up by the government to investigate abuses during a 1971 war of independence from Pakistan sentenced to death in absentia a leader of the Jamaat-e-Islami. Ahmed while talking to the reporter in Dhaka said that there was clash of ideologies between the two leading political parties.
