Bengaluru: TaxiForSure Launches Auto-Rickshaw Services

TaxiForSure, one of the fastest growing taxi services India, has launched auto-rickshaw services in Bengaluru on Friday in association with Three Wheels United, a Bengaluru-based social enterprise that works closely with auto-drivers and their families.

With the help of TaxiForSure mobile app, commuters can now book an auto in exactly the same manner as the taxis are booked, by clicking on the auto icon followed by the 'Pick Now' tab. After this, an auto will reach the commuter's doorstep in no time.

The auto service was launched by Raghunandan G, co-founder & CEO, TaxiForSure, and Aprameya R, co-founder & director, TaxiForSure. Arvind Singhal, CEO of the service, was also present at the launch.

Speaking at the launch, Raghunandan G said that the auto service is in line with TaxiForSure's strategy to solve transportation problems faced by commuters in India. He also added that with the help of technology, the service will ensure operational excellence and focus on customer satisfaction by making sure that they have a safe, convenient and economical commute solution.

TaxiForSure plans to launch about 500 autos across the city in the first phase, which will soon go up to over 1,000 autos. Customers availing the auto service would be required to pay a nominal convenience fee of Rs. 10 in addition to the auto fare.

The auto service's app will be a boon for both drivers and the commuters. The app will be multilingual and will enable the drivers to read the complete address in their preferred language while the commuters with the app will be able to rate the drivers and share feedback on the service.
