Although the teaser image of the official Facebook page of Bajaj just reads "Pulsar Adventure Sports", word around the internet suggests that it is Pulsar 200AS bike. As we already know, Bajaj has been testing its Pulsar 200 AS, a semi-faired version of 200 NS on the Indian roads for quite a while now and the model has also hit the assembly line along with Pulsar RS 200. Lending credence to this, the Pulsar 200AS was also recently spotted at a dealership, suggesting that the company has started dispatching the new Pulsar model to its dealers across the country.

Pulsar 200S is likely to get power from the same 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which does duty in Pulsar 200NS .The engine has the capacity to churn out 23bhp of power and 18.3Nm of peak torque, coupled to six-speed transmission. Touted as a possible replacement of ageing Pulsar 220F, Pulsar 200AS is expected to include new alloy wheels, projector headlight and bigger windshield and is likely to be priced in the ₹1 lakh brackets.
