Bajaj Pulsar 200SS Stunt Video Surfaces Online [VIDEO]

Hours after the first glimpse into the production version of Bajaj's much-awaited Pulsar 200SS, the stunt video of the same has hit the web, further fuelling speculations that India launch of the bike could happen soon.

In the 51-second video which was uploaded on YouTube, Pulsar 200SS is seen doing a good stunt performance. The video is believed to have been filmed in Turkey where Bajaj previewed its Pulsar 200 SS recently.

Pulsar 200SS, the fully faired version of Bajaj's Pulsar 200NS has been trying the patience of Indian two-wheeler enthusiasts for quite some time now. Now we hear that the bike in question is set to make its India debut soon as the company started the production of the Pulsar 200SS in the country.

From what we know so far, Bajaj Pulsar 200SS is likely to borrow the engine from its 200NS sibling, may be with minor tweaks in the power output. The current engine of 200NS has the capacity to churn out 23.52ps of power @ 9,500rpm and 18.3nm of torque @8,000rpm.

In India, Pulsar 200SS will be pegged against Hero Karizma R, Yamaha YZF-R15 and KTM RC200 and is likely to fall in the price range of ₹1.2 lakh brackets.

Apart from Pulsar 200SS, Super Sport 400 Pulsar (SS400) and the Cruiser Sport 400 (CS400) are also expected to reach India showroom in coming months. There is also a new generation Pulsar in the Bajaj's pipeline with 160cc engine. Expected to be launched in 2015, the new generation Pulsar is rumoured to get features like LED tail lamp, digital + analogue tachometer, split seats and new fuel filler cap.

On the other hand, Pulsar SS 400 and CS 400 which made its first appearance at Delhi Auto Expo draw power the 375cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve triple spark engine and come coupled to a six-speed transmission with fuel injection.
