Bajaj Pulsar 200SS has once again been spied upon ahead of its launch. This time round, the spy shot of the fully-faired version of Bajaj's high-end bike, has something more to reveal.
Pulsar 200SS, a much-awaited and desired bike from the Pune-based bike maker has been keeping the two-wheeler enthusiasts in the country on tenterhooks for quite some time now.
So far, the bike has made numerous appearances on the web space through spy pictures and reports. But it still remains unclear when the bike lovers will get a chance to swing on the saddle of this new offering.
However, the repeated sightings of the bike on the Indian roads give the hope that the launch is not too far.
Coming back to the latest spy shot of Motoroids , the picture that came with credits to the name of Raj Arya shows a partially covered Pulsar 200SS and the most interesting part is that there is an ABS ring in the picture.
Now it is not sure whether Bajaj is planning to release its Pulsar 200SS with ABS for Indian market, but at least that is what the latest picture tells us. Apart from this, there is nothing new that one can pull out from the latest image.
As we already know, Bajaj 200SS, the fully-faired version of 200NS is likely to get power from the same engine of its sibling may be with a minor tweak to deliver better performance. The current engine of 200NS has the capacity to churn out 23.52PS of power @9,500rpm and 18.3Nm of torque @8,000rpm. Recently, the Pulsar 200SS was shown at an event in Turkey and needless to say, the bike looked incredibly cool in its style and performance.
Expected to see the light of the day sometime next year, Pulsar 200SS will be squared off against Hero Karizma R, Yamaha YZF-R15 and KTM RC200 in India and previous rumours have indicated a price tag around ₹1.2 lakh brackets. Now with the latest news of ABS for Pulsar 200SS, we think the price of the bike could go up by ₹20,000-₹30,000.
