Here is good news for Pulsar lovers in India. Pune based bike maker's next Pulsar offering has now been confirmed to launch on 14 April.

Two -wheeler enthusiasts know that Bajaj is readying a series of new Pulsar avatars. Now, it looks like the wait for another Pulsar is almost over as the company has hinted at a new Pulsar coming our way this month. 

While speaking to MoneyControl, Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director of Bajaj Auto probably revealed the engrossing suspense. Though he did not specify which of the Pulsars that have been spied testing on the roads will be launched, sources believe it is Pulsar 200AS.

Bajaj has been testing Pulsar 200AS and Pulsar 150 AS on Indian roads for quite a while now. Both the Adventure Pulsar duos have made numerous appearances on the web through spy pics, with the latest one being the fully revealed Pulsar 200AS straight from a dealership.

Pulsar 200AS

The emerging reports on the web indicate that the company has started shipment of Pulsar 200AS to its dealers, indicating imminent launch. Pulsar 200 AS, a semi-faired version of 200 NS is expected to sit between Pulsar 200 NS and the new RS 200 and is likely to pack the same 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine of 200 NS, which is tuned to churn out 23bhp of power and 18.3Nm of peak torque, coupled to six-speed transmission.

Pulsar 150AS

Bajaj Pulsar 150AS, a lower displacement Adventure Sport model is likely to be powered by a 150cc engine with CV carburettor that can churn out 17 PS of power at 9000 rpm and 13 Nm of torque. Transmission is likely to come from a 5-speed gearbox. The bike is expected to get telescopic forks at the front, and a monoshock at the rear.
