Ilayathalapathy Vijay has started the next schedule of his upcoming movie, "Vijay 60." He started the shooting recently, and the team is busy filming a powerful action sequence in Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh.

The latest buzz is that Vijay is all set to appear in an electrifying action avatar, for which he is going shirtless, an appearance made popular by Salman Khan's Bollywood movies. A few photos of the same are doing the rounds and Ilayathalpathy will apparently flaunt his chiseled body.

It may be recalled that Vijay had earlier done a similar act in "Velayudham." However, there is no confirmation from the makers on the issue yet.

The shooting of "Bairavaa" will be wrapped up in October. The latest schedule in Andhra Pradesh will be completed in the next two weeks, following which the film unit will fly to Europe to can a few songs.

The buzz is that the makers of the film, which was earlier referred to as "Vijay 60," are planning to release a teaser on Diwali while the trailer is likely to be out in December. The Tamil flick will be released on Jan. 14, 2017 as a Pongal treat to the Kollywood audience.

"Bairavaa" is an action thriller, written and directed by Bharathan, who had earlier collaborated with the actor in "Azhagiya Tamizh Magan." Keerthy Suresh plays Ilayathalapathy's love interest. The movie also stars Aparna Vinod and Papri Ghosh as the other female leads.

Jagapathi Babu is the antagonist, while Daniel Balaji, Rajendran, Mime Gopi, Harish Uthaman, Sharath Lohitashwa and others are in supporting roles. The film features Santhosh Narayanan's music, M Sukumar's cinematography and Praveen KL's editing.
