Ekta Kapoor's "Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant," which has gradually started impressing the viewers with its unique storyline, is likely to see a major change in its cast within just two months of the show's inception.

Karan V Grover, who plays the male lead role of Shaan, is reportedly quitting the show, the Times of India reported. While no confirmation has been made by the makers or the actor, according to the report, Karan has been offered a Bollywood film. The makers are apparently looking for a new male lead who will step into the shoes of Karan.

"Karan wants to quit the show as he has got movie offers. The makers are not sure whether they will take any step against the actor, because the show is more about the heroine. They will now hunt for a new male lead," a source associated with the show told the daily.

"Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant" marked Karan's return to daily soap after "Punar Vivah" went off air a few years ago. If reports of Karan quitting the show turn out to be true, it would surely disappoint fans of the show's lead pair – Karan and Ridhima Pandit aka Rajni. Both Karan and Ridhima had been impressing viewers with their amazing on-screen chemistry.

A few weeks ago, viewers of "Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant" witnessed the wedding of Shaan and Rajni. Anita Hassanandani of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" made a special appearance during the wedding ceremony. The gorgeous actress spiced up the drama on the show.

In other news, television actors who have recently quit their shows are Avika Gor aka Roli of "Sasural Simar Ka." The actress, who shot her last episode with the team recently, decided to quit the show as she wanted to take a break from her hectic 10-year acting career and is willing to explore other opportunities.

Umang Jain aka Tara of "Yeh Risha Kya Kehlata Hai" is reportedly unhappy with the change in the show's track. The actress had told the Times of India that she might quit the show if the makers decide to sideline her character by introducing a new girl in Naksha's (Rohan Mehra) life.
