The Government of Jammu-Kashmir has launched many schemes to eliminate unemployment. In this regard an employment fair was organized in Reasi recently. Other side Pahalgam is a world famous tourist destination in Anantnag district. But tourism players of Pahalgam are unhappy as the Govt. has failed to promote it as a winter tourist destination, and very few tourists visit it during winters. Beyond this the construction of the new mini secretariat in Poonch district had made the locals happy as they felt that it would solve most of their administrative problems. But the slow pace of the work has irked the local people.
