Rumours of a split have been plaguing "Bachelorette" stars Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth ever since they got engaged on season 11 of the ABC dating reality show.

But the couple put such rumours to rest at the New York Fashion Week on Thursday, where they hung out with Bachelor Nation alums Andi Dorfman and Catherine Lowe.

The couple has been documenting their time together on social networking sites as well, with their respective Instagram accounts being filled with photographs of them indulging in public display of affection.

The duo has already spent time in Bristowe's native Canada, and next they plan to visit Booth's hometown of Nashville before deciding where to settle down. However, a marriage might not be on the cards at the moment.

Although the duo said they cannot wait to get married, they also expressed a desire to take a breather and enjoy travelling before settling down. "We just want to enjoy the moment right now," Booth told People in July. "It's been so crazy. We just want to hang out as a normal couple, do a little travelling and then sit down and start making some plans."

"We can't wait," his bride-to-be chipped in. "We don't need to plan it right now, but we can't wait."

Another reason that might be delaying the Booth-Bristowe wedding is the fitness instructor's family's alleged disapproval of the relationship. According to recent reports, Booth's family is not on board with the wedding, and they have even told him of their decision to boycott it.

"Shawn's family has nothing nice to say about Kaitlyn, they can't believe that Shawn would propose to her after she slept with Nick Viall on national television," a Celeb Dirty Laundry source pointed out. "And, they think that Kaitlyn brings out the worst in Shawn – they hate seeing him a jealous and insecure mess. Shawn's Dad has told him that they won't be attending the wedding."

Interestingly, a National Enquirer report, too, was along similar lines, and noted that Booth's dad found Bristowe "fickle" and "flighty".
