Nick Viall seems to have a strong desire to find love on reality television. After being rejected by both Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe in "The Bachelorette" Seasons 10 and 11, he came on to "Bachelor in Paradise" Season 3 to find love.

But it looks like his attempts to strike a connection with one of the suitable bachelorettes fails, and this has prompted ABC to cast him as the next "Bachelor." While he was considered a villain in both the seasons of "The Bachelorette," Viall has managed to win hearts in "Bachelor in Paradise."

"I'm very excited; I'm more nervous," Viall said on After Paradise. "I don't know if anything really prepares you for it," he said. "Honestly, I think I'm definitely ready for it. I'm very excited. I've had an interesting journey throughout this process."

This announcement has spoiled the fact that Viall does not end up with Jen. Shortly after the news broke, Viall's nemesis Josh Murray took to Twitter to hint that "Bachelor in Paradise" producers went out of their way to show Viall in positive light.

"And you wonder why the edits have been the way they have in BIP," Murray retweeted this message by his sister. But later, he said Viall was a deserving candidate. "Despite our differences, I am truly happy 4 @viallnicholas28 everyone deserves love and he is no exception — this is your time, go find her!"

Murray and Viall have been going against each other ever since they appeared on Andi Dorfman's season of "The Bachelorette." Viall was the runner up and Murray got the final rose from Dorfman.
Here are a few reactions to Viall being the next "Bachelor."
