Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra's look from an upcoming song titled "Kala Chashma" in "Baar Baar Dekho" has been revealed. "Kala Chashma" happens to be the first song from the movie and is a revised version of the old Punjabi track.
Both Sidharth and Katrina are seen sporting black glasses in the still from the song video. While the former is seen in a casual look, Katrina looks sizzling in a desi appearance. Katrina's look in the song is similar to her get-up in the popular song "Chikni Chameli" from "Agneepath."
The first look poster of the two stars that was released earlier had received a positive response from viewers. The makers of "Baar Baar Dekho" are apparently following a different pattern to promote the film. Usually, a film's teaser or trailer is released first, followed by the songs but the makers of "Baar Baar Dekho" are set to release the first song "Kala Chashma" just after the first look poster was revealed.
The song video is expected to be released on July 27. "Kala Chashma 2.0 is a party starter and has been the heartbeat of the Punjabi music scene for over a decade," co-producer Karan Johar said in a statement. "Our revamped and rejuvenated version has enhanced the energy to an altogether different level. 'Baar Baar Dekho' is a celebration of life and love and we thought the song would encapsulate that ethos in the best possible way. It kick starts our campaign and the trailer will be out soon after. 'Kala Chasma' leaves you with a huge smile on your face and a dance in your demeanour."
The song "Kala Chashma" is a remake of Amar Arshi's Punjabi song "Tenu Kala Chasma Jajta Ve" from 1990. Directed by Nitya Mehra, "Baar Baar Dekho" will feature Sidharth and Katrina together for the first time.
