The makers of Baahubali - The Conclusion (Bahubali 2) have made some interesting announcements regarding the much-awaited second franchise in the Baahubali series.
In a recently held press meet, director SS Rajamouli said that the first look of Baahubali 2 will be released on October 22 that happens to a day before the birthday of Prabhas. And the trailer of the Prabhash, Rana Daggubati-starrer will be revealed in the early part of 2017.
The director said that Baahubali - The Conclusion will incorporate VR effects (virtual reality) of the highest quality. Fans who are eagerly waiting for the movie will have a glimpse of the special effects on the same day of the release of its first look. The visual effects alone apparently cost Rs 25 crore.
Also an animated series of Baahubali will be out soon. The teaser of the animated series of the extremely successful movie will be released on October 1.

SS Rajamouli said in the press meet that he wants to see Baahubali continue forever in the form of comic books and animated series. Talking about the shooting of the film, the director said that it will be complete by the end of December 2016.
However, fans of Tamannaah might be little sad as Baahubali 2 will not have any song sequence featuring the actress. Baahubali - The Conclusion is slated to be released on April 28, 2017. Meanwhile, the logo of the film has also been released highlighting the big question "Why Katappa killed Baahubali?
