SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali: The Beginning" has become the fourth Facebook's Top Topics of 2015 after Prime Minister Narendra Modi, E-commerce, and late President and scientist APJ Abdul Kalam.

"Baahubali: The Beginning" has already set several new benchmarks for upcoming Indian movies. Its achievement on social net-working website Facebook is the latest. The makers of the movie are thrilled over this achievement. They took to the official Twitter and Facebook accounts of the movie to share their excitement over this news.

The producers tweeted, "'#Baahubali: The Beginning' standing strong at #4 on Facebook's Top Topics of 2015! #BaahubaliTops2015. We are pleasantly surprised to see #Baahubali being featured in Facebook's Year in Review Video! #BaahubaliTops2015 https://vimeo.com/148313339."

The list of Facebook's top 10 topics of the year begins with the note, "As the year comes to a close, we remember what was on our minds in 2015, and the difference we made by coming together. Take a look back at the most talked-about topics of the year."

The list on the website ends with the concluding lines, "Year in Review top 10 lists were measured by how frequently a topic was mentioned in Facebook posts made between January and December 2015. To put this list together, Facebook posts were analyzed in an aggregated, anonymized way, and then ranked to create a snapshot of the year on Facebook."

The makers of "Baahubali: The Beginning" had used Facebook to the fullest extent for its promotion. Director SS Rajamouli used it for everything right from its announcement in 2013 to its release dates. Besides building up curiosity level, the director amassed a huge amount of followers for the movie.

Months before its release, "Baahubali: The Beginning" started trending on Facebook with many people talking about it. The craze grew considerably as the release date neared. After its release, the movie became the most talked about topic not only in India, but also across the globe.
