Despite facing a huge competition from biggie "Srimanthudu", starring Mahesh Babu, the film has managed to make decent business globally on Friday. The early predictions state that the multilingual movie has made a total business of Rs. 533 crore in 29 days.

The movie is set to beat Aamir Khan's Bollywood blockbuster "Dhoom 3", which has made a lifetime business of Rs. 542 crore. "Baahubali" is expected to beat the record of the Aamir Khan starrer by this weekend and it will be a rare achievement for a South Indian movie to reach this feat.

It will make SS Rajamouli's flick the third highest grossing movie of all time in India after "Bajrangi Bhajiaan", which is still doing great business and has earned Rs. 547 crore so far, and Aamir Khan's "PK", which collected Rs. 740 crore worldwide.

The traders predict that "Baahubali" would finally end up in the third position as Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is sure to continue its success run at the collection centres. The SS Rajamouli directorial can beat Sallu's film only through China now.

"PK" made stupendous business in the neighbouring country through good word-of-mouth and "Baahubali" also could make it if it enjoys a great opening in China.

But, beating the lifetime record of "PK" will not be easy as making another Rs. 200 crore will be very tough.

The movie, starring Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Tamanna Bhatia, has been released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. All the versions have performed well and garnered appreciation from some of the big names of the Indian film industry like Shah Rukh Khan, Mahesh Babu, etc.
