"Baahubali" actor Prabhas met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah a day after meeting union home minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi.

Along with his uncle Krishnam Raju, mother and other family members, Prabhas visited Narendra Modi in Delhi on 26 July. Modi took to his Twitter handle to post a photo featuring him with Prabhas and his family members and wrote, "Met 'Baahubali' Prabhas today."

Later, addressing the media, Prabhas expressed his excitement at having met with Narendra Modi. The "Baahubali" star said that the meeting "was the best day" of his life. The actor said he also requested the Prime Minister to watch "Baahubali - the Beginning"

"Today is the best day of my life. I am a big fan (of Narendra Modi) and I can never forget this day. I spoke about Baahubali, I asked him to watch (the film) if he has the time. He said that he's a little busy but if he can, he surely will," ANI quoted Prabhas as saying after his meeting with NaMo.

If we are to go by the reports, the makers of "Baahubali" held a special screening for top BJP leaders in Delhi on Sunday, which was watched, among others, by BJP president Amit Shah.

After the screening, he also posed for photographers with Prabhas and his family members.

The makers of "Baahubali" are all excited over Prabhas' meeting with top leaders such as Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh. On the movie's Twitter handle, they tweeted, "India's P.M. meets #Baahubali! What an honour it would be if he watched our film!"

For his part, director SS Rajamouli tweeted, "Shri NARENDRA Modi meets our AMARENDRA Baahubali..what an honour..."

The bosses of Dharma Productions tweeted, "PM Shri @narendramodi met Prabhas, the Baahubali. RT if you wish that our PM watches @BaahubaliMovie (sic)"
