After a fabulous collection of Rs 18.30 crore (nett) on the fourth weekend, the fourth Monday witnessed a downfall, though the figure is decent enough. Baahubali 2 collected Rs 4 crore (approximately) on Monday, May 22. Its total domestic box office collection (Hindi version) now stands at Rs 482 crore nett (approximately).

With this, Prabhas' Baahubali 2 is inching closer to Rs 500 crore (nett), a feat which no Bollywood film has managed to achieve till date. The dubbed film should take another four to five days to cross the Rs 500 crore mark.

Meanwhile, at worldwide box office, the multi-lingual film crossed Rs 1,500 crore mark in just 21 days and created history by setting a new benchmark for Indian cinema.

Several new releases from various regions, including Bollywood films - Half Girlfriend and Hindi Medium (released on May 19) - have failed to slow down the business of Baahubali 2. Instead, many films were pulled down as the Prabhas-starrer continued to do well at ticket counters.
