After "Dum Laga Ke Haisha," Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar became one of the most loved on-screen pairs in Bollywood. The duo is making a comeback with Aanand L Rai's "Manmarziyan," but the shooting has reportedly been stalled for now.

Several speculations are doing the rounds regarding this sudden pause in the shooting of the film. Apparently, producer Aanand and director Sameer Sharma were facing some creative differences. Aanand reportedly asked the director to leave the film as he was not happy with Sameer's direction.

"Rai saw a lot of potential in Manmarziyan but Sameer was not the right man for the job. There were a lot of issues as the unit wasn't getting along together. The film became a clash of two visions," SpotboyE quoted a source as saying.

On the other hand, it has been reported that Sameer revealed the team is on a break as a few corrections are being made in the script, Bollywood Hungama reported. The report further suggests that the director was reluctant to reveal more details and referred to it as "internal matter."

Whether Sameer would stick to the project or not, only time can tell. It is still unknown as to when the shooting of Ayushmann and Bhumi-starrer will resume. Fans are eagerly waiting to see these two again on the big screen.

This will be Bhumi's second film in Bollywood and she will appear in her leaner avatar in this film. Meanwhile, Ayushmann is working on Yash Raj Films' "Meri Pyaari Bindu" as well. He will play a Bengali guy, who will fall in love with a Tamil girl, played by Parineeti Chopra.

The romantic drama, which was earlier titled "Side B," is a story set in the 90s. It is about two neighbours who fall in love with each other over their common interest for Hindi film songs.
