The official trailer of Fahadh Faasil's upcoming film "Ayaal Njanalla" has been released at 7pm on Wednesday, 22 July.

The fun-filled romantic film, helmed by actor-turned-director Vineeth Kumar, has Mrudula Murali in the female lead role.

"Ayaal Njanalla", a story based in Gujarat, revolves around Prakashan, who moved to the state 15 years ago.

In the trailer, Fahadh's character looks totally different and is seen speaking Malayalam in Koyilandi dialect.

Meanwhile, Mrudula dons the role of a Gullu girl, who is the daughter of a Gujarati mother, played by a Gujarati actor Kalpana, and Malayali father, played by Babu Annoor.

The film has an ensemble cast, including Divya Pillai, Ranji Panicker, Sijo Varghese, Tini Tom, Chemban Vinod, Joju, TG Ravi, Akshat Singh of "India's Got Talent" fame, among many others in significant roles.

"Ayaal Njanalla" is the directorial debut of Vineeth, who began his career in the Mollywood entertainment industry as a child artiste in 1989 movie "Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha". Vineeth won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist for his performance in the Hariharan directorial.

While Shamdat has handled the cinematography, the upcoming film's music is composed by Manu Ramesan.

"Ayaal Njanalla" is set to hit the screens on 31 July.
