Ever since the first teaser trailer of Avengers: Endgame or Avengers 4 is released by Marvel Studios, fans have been buzzing about various theories and fate of all the superheroes. There are many theories about Time Stone, quantum realm, and how Ant-Man is the key to defeating Thanos. However, a most recent theory speculates the death of Tony Stark/Iron Man and Steve Rogers/Captain America.

In Avengers: Infinity War, it was shown that Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is on the planet Titan with Nebula, Dr. Strange, and few members of Guardians. On the other hand, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) was in Wakanda with the majority of Avengers by his side. After Thanos got all the six Infinity Stones in his possession, he snapped his fingers and killed half the living beings in the entire Universe.

After Thanos' decimation, Tony Stark was left all alone with Nebula on Titan and even Steve Rogers also lost a majority of Avengers.

In the Avengers 4 first trailer, it was shown how Tony Stark was drifting away into space and how Steve Rogers was crying over losing the battle.

With the teaser trailer, Marvel Studios has proved that the biggest war against the strongest being in the Universe can't be won without killing off some of the major characters. As per a recent theory, fan-favourite Iron Man and Captain America are among those characters, who are going to become a casualty.

A Redditor posted a theory about Avengers: Endgame by describing the events happened in Avengers: Age of Ultron. In the previous Avengers movie, when Ultron escapes the Stark Tower, Tony Stark says to the Avengers, "A hostile alien army came charging through a hole in space. We're standing 300 feet below it. We're the Avengers. We can bust arms dealers all the livelong day but that up there, that's... That's the endgame. How were you guys planning on beating that?"

To this, Steve Roger simply replies, "Together."

"We'll lose," says Tony.

"Then we'll do that together too," responded Steve.

As per the fan, this conversation between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers somehow states that in Endgame movie, they both will come together to defeat Thanos and won't survive until the very end.

While talking about Age of Ultron and the above conversation between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark, fans were quick to observe that this is that conversation which Dr. Strange referred when in Infinity War he said, "We are in the Endgame." This statement has made many to believe that Endgame movie will show time travel.

Avengers 4 or Avengers: Endgame is scheduled to release on April 26, 2019.
