British motorcycle manufacture Triumph expanded its product portfolio in India with the launch of its new Bonneville range at the Auto Expo 2016 in Delhi.The next generation Bonneville range consists of three motorcycles -- Street Twin, Bonneville T120 and Thruxton R.

"Our classics already enjoy a huge fan following here in India with people from all walks of life enjoying these iconic motorcycles. Modern classics are becoming more and more popular since people today are looking for character, style and fun. For us here in India, this is the perfect timing since this market is fast expanding. We're extremely excited about the three new Bonnevilles unveiled today. The models selected for India are a result of the feedback we received directly from our customers and are very sure of their success within the India market," said Vimal Sumbly, managing director of Triumph Motorcycles India, in a press statement.

The Street Twin, Triumph's most contemporary Bonneville, has got an all-new high torque 900cc engine, which can churn out 54bhp of power and 80Nm of torque at 3200rpm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle that comes with distinctive sound and stripped-back styling features ABS, Slip assist clutch, Ride-by-Wire (RbW) and Traction control. Available in four colours -- Red, silver, jet back and matt black, the Street Twin has been priced at Rs 6.90 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Bonneville T120 is powered by the all-new Bonneville 1200cc engine that is tuned to generate 105Nm of torque at 3,100rpm. Triumph Bonneville T120 features LED headlight and tail lamps and multiple riding modes. Triumph Bonneville T120 has been priced at Rs 8.7 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and the company will begin the delivery of the model from April.

The third motorcycle in the new Bonneville range -- Thruxton R -- comes with sporting ergonomics, clip-on bars, fully adjustable suspension and 17-inch front wheel, for stunning handling and agility, combined with Triumph's signature ride dynamic of neutrality and agility. It has a 1200cc parallel-twin motor. The price of this will be revealed later.
