February is going to be an exciting month for auto lovers in the country as the auto makers are gearing up for the biennial celebration in the automotive world -- Auto Expo 2016. The 13th edition of the country's biggest auto carnival will kickstart in the first week of February in Greater Noida.

While car makers like Maruti Suzuki, Honda, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Tata Motors and General Motors have already revealed their line-up for the Auto Expo 2016, the latest to announce the list is French auto maker Renault. The company, which is getting ready to bring the new avatars of its crowd pullers, will have new Kwid variants and Duster facelift in its pavilion to entice the auto lovers.

Renault Kwid, the much acclaimed small car from the French car maker, has been writing success stories since its entry in the Indian market. Renault, not keen to rest on its laurels, is now gearing up to launch the new version of its Kwid at the Auto Expo 2016. Although the company did not divulge the details of the new Kwid variants, rumour has it that it could be the 1.0 litre Kwid and the AMT avatar. There have also been reports that the company will unveil Kwid Racer and Climber variants. More details are awaited.

Apart from Kwid, the next model to join Renault's arena at the auto show is the facelifted avatar of the company's popular SUV Duster that re-defined the concept of SUV in the Indian market. Renault Duster had phenomenal success in the market and the company hopes to replicate the same with the new model.

The Duster facelift, which is expected to draw design cues from Brazilian-spec models, is speculated to include new features like MediaNAV System with multimedia. The 2016 Duster facelift is expected to flaunt a new single-slate grille and headlamp cluster with updated rear and front bumpers. The major change is expected to come in the form of AMT (Automated Manual Transmission).

While the new variants of Kwid will be unveiled at the Auto Expo on 3 February, the Duster facelift will make its India debut on 4 February.
